Her Story
Dr. Tiell has been with Tiffin University since 1988. During her time at Tiffin University she has worn many hats including coach, professor, dean of graduate studies and more. Tiell has been recognized for many accomplishments throughout her time with Tiffin University. Some including Tiffin's Provost award in 2017, in 2016 was recognized as Woman of the Year in Sports by WISE, and Donahue Service Award in 2013 from NCAA II Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference. Tiell also is the author of two textbooks on Sport Governance for Human Kinetics (edition 2 in 2024) and Human Resources in Sport. These texts are used in both undergrad and master level courses at Tiffin and more institutions around the country.
