As I move forward in my role, I will continue to be entrusted with the task of creating the weekly lesson plans, which will be reviewed and refined by Dr. Tiell to ensure their effectiveness.
In the 375 course, the focus was on administering the previously reviewed test. Before the test began, we provided students with an opportunity to ask any last-minute questions and clarify any doubts they had regarding the test content. Following the completion of the test, students were required to prove that they had correctly formatted at least two references in APA style for their debate projects. We emphasized the importance of proper referencing and informed students that by the following Tuesday, they should have all their references and an introductory section completed for their papers so they did not fall behind in the process. Once these tasks were accomplished, students were given the option to leave early.
On the other hand, in the 370 course, the lesson plan encompassed a comprehensive coverage of Unit three, which focused on personal and professional goals. To enhance understanding and engagement, we incorporated multiple videos related to the unit's content. Dr. Tiell provided instruction and guidance to the students, utilizing their transition playbooks to navigate through the activities of Unit three. Additionally, we welcomed Harold Smith from the WVU football staff as our Ten Minute Tuesday guest for the week, providing students with valuable insights and perspectives. The day concluded with a reminder for students to attend their practicums on Thursdays while also completing their journals and an assurance that we were available to address any issues they might encounter along the way.
