This week, I was introduced to an additional responsibility by Dr. Tiell: creating the lesson plans for both of our courses. Dr. Tiell provided guidance throughout the process, building upon the previous week's plans she had formulated. To ensure a cohesive and effective curriculum, I sent the lesson plans to Dr. Tiell the night before for her review and input, allowing her to suggest any necessary adjustments.

In the 375 course, we introduced the students to the sports management club, highlighting an exciting opportunity to work as security personnel during Cleveland Browns games. This opportunity not only provided hands-on experience but also increased their chances of attending the esteemed Michigan Sports and Business Conference, while adding valuable content to their resumes. We then acknowledged that grades were up to date and informed students that late work would still be accepted, with final grades being determined at the end of the semester. Transitioning to the main topic of the day, we delved into the new worksheet and its accompanying activities. Finally, we engaged in a chapter lecture followed by a review discussion to reinforce key concepts.

For the 370 course, the beginning of the lesson appeared slightly repetitive, reiterating the volunteering opportunity with the Cleveland organization. However, we swiftly moved on to addressing the resume assignment and their grades. As a change from the regular routine, there was no Ten Minute Tuesday this week. Instead, we invited career services professionals to speak to the class, offering valuable insights and advice. Subsequently, students were given dedicated time to work on their transition playbooks, which are due on Sunday, and they had the opportunity to ask questions for clarification on sections 1 and 2.

Through the experience of creating and executing these lesson plans, I gained practical skills in curriculum development. Collaborating closely with Dr. Tiell not only ensured the effectiveness of the lessons but also provided me with valuable mentorship and guidance in my teaching journey.
