Day 15: Date: September 22, 2022 1.5 hours Total Hours: 40

Thursday brought a break from the 370 class, but the day was still filled with activities for the 375 course. To start off, we decided to have a pop quiz to assess students' understanding of Chapter 6. They were required to write down three things they had learned or knew about the chapter. Those who completed the task successfully were rewarded with 5 bonus points. This quiz served as a way to reinforce the importance of active learning and retention of key concepts.

During the lecture, Dr. Tiell took the lead and shared one of her informative PowerPoint presentations with the class. Her expertise and insights added depth to the lesson, providing students with valuable perspectives. The session continued with the usual routine, including watching the chapter video, engaging in the chapter lecture, and participating in a class discussion. This interactive discussion allowed students to share their thoughts, ask questions, and gain further clarity on the chapter content.

As the day drew to a close, we awarded time for students to work on their worksheets, allowing them to apply what they had learned and reinforce their understanding of the material. After class, Dr. Tiell graciously treated me to lunch, which provided an opportunity for us to connect on a more personal level outside of the classroom. Dr. Tiell introduced me to Trey, one of the men's basketball Graduate Assistants (GAs). It was a pleasant encounter, as it provided a chance to connect with another graduate student on campus, which was a relatively rare occurrence given the online nature of our program. Following our meal, we headed to the Browns game, where we had the privilege of working in the security team.
