Thursday's session proved to be another short day, primarily due to the practicums of the 370 course. To make the most of the limited time available, Dr. Tiell and I decided to introduce a more interactive approach, encouraging student engagement and collaborative learning.

We initiated the session by following the usual routine of reviewing the chapter activities related to the worksheets assigned. Additionally, we incorporated a video that complemented the chapter content, providing students with a multimedia learning experience. However, to create an interactive learning environment, we introduced a new activity. Each student was given a specific word or phrase from the chapter and tasked with finding the definition and providing a sports-related example. This activity not only encouraged critical thinking and deeper engagement with the material but also fostered peer-to-peer discussion and learning. Students had the opportunity to share their findings, learning from one another's perspectives and examples.

After this interactive segment, we resumed the regular lesson plan, concluding with the lecture video to reinforce key concepts covered in the chapter. With the remaining time, we provided students with the opportunity to work on their debate projects. They were instructed to finalize their references and begin crafting their introductory paragraphs. This allowed them to make progress on their assignments and ensured that they stayed on track with the project timeline.

By incorporating interactive activities and promoting student participation, we aimed to create a dynamic and engaging learning experience. Encouraging discussions, sharing perspectives, and fostering collaboration among students facilitated a deeper understanding of the subject matter. Despite the time constraints, we strived to maximize the value of each session, ensuring that students received a well-rounded education that went beyond mere lecture-based instruction.
